La Clusaz is a classic French Alpine resort that opens its doors to mountain bikes for the summer months. In its 10+ years as a MTB destination, several main tracks (blue- and red-graded easy downhill runs) have remained a staple, and in places are severely worn. 

But the best stuff here is the ‘enduro’ trails, such as Les Juments, le Bois du Plan and La Trace. These hand-cut tracks pile through the woods with loamy dirt and perfectly-sculpted turns a-plenty.

Well worth a daytrip from Morzine or a weekend trip.
